Efficient in-house R&D centre

POSCO-Thainox has placed strong emphasis on its own R&D activities. In 2001, the Metallurgy Department was established as a technical centre to continually improve the efficiency of the production process and find the better way to produce the best quality stainless steel. Furthermore, to provide a better solution for every client, the company founded Technical Research and Development Center (TRDC) in 2003. Equipped with the most advanced instruments and employing only highly skilled staff, this internationally recognized research centre, is dedicated to technical and operational excellence in stainless steel manufacturing and to developing the best stainless steel products that fit all kinds of needs.
